All our plans have unlimited bandwidth so our clients' websites can receive unlimited visits from the very beginning. They don't have to upgrade in the middle of their subscriptions like with most plans at WPEngine & similar services.

The price is actually good too, keep in mind that we update the plugins and themes automatically so our services are more like a marriage between WPEngine and a service like WPBuffs (which costs on its own $67/m).

Also, I forgot to say: we give WPRocket for all customers even the Start plan which doesn't have the optimizing speed feature.

That feature we offer means actually setting things up for maximum speed ourselves, it includes testing LiteSpeed and WPRocket to see which one is suitable on a case by case basis as it depends as I said on the theme and other factors.

How we optimize speed?

1. By offering WPRocket for free - it's the best plugin for optimizing a Wordpress loading speed by caching and minifying files (HTML, CSS) along with other settings.

2. By changing some settings in the Cpanel like switching the PHP version from 7.0 (which is by default) to 7.2. Most people forget or don't know about this little trick, PHP 7.2 is more performant than 7.0. We rarely switch to PHP 7.3 because there are some WordPress themes that don't support it yet.

3. We avoid hosting streaming related websites so they don't slow down the servers. Our plans are suited for blogs, membership websites, course websites (who host videos outside our servers, with Vimeo for example), e-commerce, portfolio, and almost every type no matter how much traffic they receive as our plans are not limited in pageviews/bandwidth.

For the speed, we don't have specific numbers because achieving a great speed takes into account a lot of factors that are not always related to the host:

-How the theme is coded and how much data and requests are sent to the visitor's browser.

-How much distance there is between the server and the client (the visitor).

-How much content there is on the page if it contains a lot of videos and images that are going to require some more seconds to load.

But our bold promise is, we will always look for ways to optimize and improve the speed from our side and take initiatives to fulfill that promise.

The loading speed can really help a business or break it. I had a small blog before that loaded in 4s. I improved its speed by deleting some plugins I was not using anymore and put a caching plugin. The speed was cut by half, it improved the number of visitors overnight (I concluded that most of them were quitting the site before it loaded!).

Speed is also a ranking factor now on Google among many other factors like SSL etc..

So I think a business should not take speed slightly or as a luxury, it's a must.
