Came up with idea after listening to Justin Kan

Justin and Cameron Yarbrough were discussing the concept of living like you only had 1 year left. The idea that it would be spiritually cathartic to express gratitude really resonated with my new interest in the neurological benefits of meditation and mindfulness and gratitude -- I had to explore further.

I thought performing random small acts of kindness (i.e. complimenting a random stranger or sending a text of appreciation to a parent) would be an interesting avenue, and if a big enough movement gathered behind it, we could also counterbalance all the negativity in the world right now.

Initially, I wanted to try and push for a 1 year commitment, but settled for either 14-day or 28-day blocks instead so it would be less daunting. Going to crowdsource some ideas for small acts of kindness.
