3 Months of Ads
by Vegard BjørsvikLast September I was revamping this website and adding analytics, https://pirsch.io, for the first time. After seeing how much traffic the website was getting I decided to try to monetize it. Since it just a simple tool/utility website and I decided to try to add ads. Since the website does not contain much contextual content I could not get it approved to google adsense. I found an ad-service called Adsterra. It worked great and I have now gotten some data from running ads and traffic analytics on the website since January.
After 3 months with average if 6.6k visitors and over 40k pageviews it has generated $14 of revenue from ads. With how horrible the ads are performing I will remove the ads.
