Ying Wang

I joined Indie Hackers because I wanted to start a company. At first I wanted to start a company because I wanted to be rich. Then I wanted to start a company because I wanted to be free and to be my own boss. Then I wanted to start a company because I want a lot of good problems on my plate (tractable technical and non-technical challenges).

Now I want to start a company and do as many right things as possible, fail at it, get it out of my system, and tell the little cherub in the back of my head that we tried and we should move on with our lives. Maybe if it doesn't fail and keeps not failing I can call myself successful. But at least I'll be at peace.

"You don't ever have to do anything sensational for people to love you." -- Fred Rogers, Dartmouth College commencement address, 2002
