Hello! I'm Mark Jayson and I do so many things. I build, write, research, perform, sing, act, dance, code, game, teach, learn, overthink, you name it I probably do it.
My work is a big spectrum with big standard deviation and a min and max that's almost a light year wide. Some days I’m building serious tools with technical coding, some days I’m writing music and performing somewhere.
I’m building Macro by Mark, a macroeconomics platform for learning, economic data exploration, forecasting workflows, dashboards, and applied interpretation.
The product grew from my own struggle learning economics through static textbook models and scattered datasets. I wanted a better bridge between concepts, real data, charts, models, forecasts, and explanation.
Current build: Next.js/TypeScript, Supabase, Vercel, Tiger Cloud/Postgres, Trigger.dev, Upstash, Stripe, and public data provider integrations.
Still early and pre-revenue. I’m using this stage to validate the strongest wedges
