Show IH: A new way to sell ad spaces for communities.
I soft launched intravert.co yesterday and fortunately - some people liked the idea.
If you are running a niche community, you know that running CPC ads through Google or Carbon are not perfect: You have a strong, engaged audience, but the traffic compared to - let's say - a food blog is nearly nothing.
This is where Intravert.co can help! Instead of relying on a broad ad network, sell ads within your own community - like a digital Billboard! No tracking needed. Ads come from the community, for the community.
Since yesterday, our ad spaces are deployed on getmakerlog.com, remoteml.com, outglobing.com - amongst others.
Let me know what you think about that. Anxious to hear what you think. Get in touch if you want to integrate them on your own site!

Uhhh...I think this is genius.
I hope this does well, I could see so many use cases.
I've often been on sites and thought " I wish I could quickly throw an ad up here."
One small suggestion might be to put a few simple metrics under the adspace that displays avg. visitors, demographics?, etc..
But, overall great concept and execution.
Thanks for the feedback!
I'd rather be a little bit cautious with tracking - the big aspect of this is that the ad spaces are really just interesting if somebody knows the community or blog and can estimate the demographics. Else, it just turns into another ad network.
Interesting!
Can you talk a bit about how this works?
It wasn't quite clear to me from the LP whether you're a marketplace for ads (install a space, have ads shown from other community brands via intravert) or a plugin that manages buying/selling ad space on my own site?
Thanks!
The second one! You install the space, it shows up as a customizable widget with a purchasing button, that leads you to a booking site.
Thanks!
Ok, interesting. So I still have to go out and recruit all advertisers myself then?
It seems that no, you add an "advertising" page or something like it and hope for your own users to buy advertising.
Interesting idea. It simplifies things.
Nice work, it's looking great :)
Although I'm not sure where I would find the advertisers I really like the idea and the community aspect of it.
I would recommend making the website a bit clearer, I though it was some kind of ad network at first
You'd be surprised about who visits your site and decides to advertise on it.
Thanks! I think a few example sites & demos will help.
I think this is a very cool idea, and the landing page looks amazing. Great job!
