I'm wondering what the best practice is for setting up transactional and marketing/newsletter emails.

I'm wondering what the best practice is for setting up transactional and marketing/newsletter emails. I'm building something with Laravel if that makes a difference.

Should I use one email service provider for everything, assuming any of them are good for both, or do people usually use one for marketing and another for transactional? I was initially thinking of Mailgun, mainly because I heard some good things and picked it.

Should I use blade templates for emails or leverage the service provider for that? What about the mailing list? Keep in my database or just maintain it in my service provider?

Just wanted to get some input from those who've set all this up before.
