Anyone knows about a model for open collaboration in a business?

My goal is that a (small, relatively restricted) set of participants can come and go at will to work on features of a product, and then they can harvest the fruits of their work over sensible timespan.

For example, you come, add a great feature that pulls in tons of users, but then go on a year-long holiday. You should benefit from the revenue generated, say over the next two years, although diminishing in time.

My rough idea is that each month, the contributors would vote on the weight of their contributions (with abstract numbers, see planning poker in agile). Then they get contribution tokens according to that weight that diminish over time.

Any month, the revenue is taken and distributed across holders of contribution tokens according to the ratio. Kind of like a dynamic shareholder model.
