1-1 business coaching for indie hackers...with a twist?

Hey gang!

I'll start with some background:

I used to host a business podcast called Stacking the Bricks - an audio companion for the site I run with @amyhoy. The show itself is for and about creative people who are bootstrapping (or want to) their own business - so a lot like the folks in this community.

And in spite of the fact that we haven't shipped a new episode in about a year, it has a pretty big audience with over 200,000 downloads, and still gets between 3,000-10,000 downloads a month.

Before I took a break, the show has been a mix of cast studies & stories of people who earn a living from products (SaaS, ebooks, videos, plugins, etc), banter-y business conversations, and other entrepreneurial errata.

But right now, I'm planning a reboot of the show with a focus on sharing real, live coaching sessions with creative entrepreneurs.

Wanna get some expert advice on some aspect of your business? The only catch is...I want to record the session and turn it into an episode. 😉

My goal is to make this different from so many of the "origin story" podcasts that capture entrepreneurial stories as hindsight. I'm imagining the result being a show where it feels like you're sitting in on other people's 1-1 coaching sessions. More of a dialogue than a lecture, and more focused on showing real people solving real problems in their businesses.

That said, it's definitely an experiment - and I'm not 100% sure how it's going to go! But I'm pretty stoked about shipping this to our audience and wanted to share the platform with the Indie Hackers community.

Also - this is a fun way for us to offer a handful of coaching sessions for FREE (our usual coaching packages start at $2500). You just need to be willing to to do it in public ;)

What this is NOT:

• We can't tell you if your idea is good or not. We aren't your customers.
• This isn't a platform for you to pitch your idea.

What this IS:

• A way to to get unstuck, and leave with a specific action or goal you know how to accomplish
• 1-1 personalized advice from people who've successfully made the leap from employment, to consulting, to indie biz owners with millions of $$ of revenue.
