1.5 month runway - Business Model to find - The Community Atlas

We mapped over 270k communities aggregating their engagement metrics to rank the best ones on over 68000 topics. We started form Meetup but also collect communities on all sorts of platforms.

Our mission is to help communities thrive by providing them opportunities to be sustainable like:
- job offers with a bounty that they can share so they get rewarded if a person is hired
- high quality affiliate marketing opportunities
- sponsorships from companies
- links to companies looking to do hackatons and innovation
We can easily message these communities to link them with these opportunities provided they are of value.
We want to work on result.
What didn't Work:
- We got plenty of data but not enough to appeal to research market.
- We pitched it to companies: but it flies over their head.
- Strategy consulting companies may be interested but its a long B2B shot.
- Small companies may be willing to pay but very little. The use case is still too general to fully SAAS it
What Worked:
- We have one customer that uses our API to recommend job offers to his customers that share job offers in his platform.
- We are trying now to match communities to a dozen high quality job offers from a recruitment firm, giving a bounty of 500€ to each community if a person is hired.
Both are great but its not easy to find similar deals on the run.
Neither is enough tho to get us "over the hump" to the Monthly recurring Revenues we need.
We need to find business that are willing to pay good fees for highly targeted leads. Quickly
