I’m running a $1/day campaign in Orlando right now.
Not to get leads.
Not to sell anything.
Just to show up.
Here’s how it works:
Every day, I post a local event spotlight on social (FB/IG).
I boost it for $1/day with basic reach targeting:
Ages 25–65, 10mi radius. No interests. No hacks.
Meta shows it to ~1,000 people per day.
I don’t pitch. I just post something valuable to the city.
Over time, it does two things:
The brand becomes familiar.
People see The Pulse logo. The vibe. The consistency.
The algorithm learns who cares.
Who watches. Who clicks. Who shares.
That becomes our list.
That’s what Marvin follows up on.
Not based on opt-ins, based on attention patterns.
Now imagine this:
10 boosted posts per day (events) = 10K impressions/day
20 members each running a $1/day ad = 20K more/day
→ After 30 days = ~900,000 impressions in one city
No funnels. No gimmicks. Just brand gravity at scale.
And because it's real local content, people don’t scroll past it they stop, they like , they comment, they share. (And then the algorithm kicks in and retargeting begins)
If you're building anything city-based, start with exposure.
Let the algorithm build your warm list before you ever ask for a click.
Interesting
The next step, retargeting is where the money is made. Money is in the "follow up"
