Nice. The no-login part is huge — most people just want to grab a decent template and tweak it, not go through a whole funnel.
One suggestion: adding a few “fill in the blank” style templates might make it even faster for people who aren’t sure what to write. That way you keep the simplicity but also help those who freeze at a blank page.

Think about how to expand this beyond a cover letter. As someone who's hired a lot of people, the cover letter CAN make a difference, especially if it has a personal touch. Automating it may save time, and may be perfectly apt in this AI recruiting world, but I suspect there's a bit of secret sauce you could add that makes your product generating better outcomes, rather than just automating a drudgery.

So think about the pain points associated with cover letters and the whole application process. Think about the 'jobs to be done' by the applicant, the recruiter, and also the letter itself. Think about the ways in which a cover letter (or any element of the process) might genuinely improve the chance for a positive outcome. How can you leverage any of those insights?
Maybe look at research showing the aspects of a successful cover letter, or talk to recruiters about what a cover letter can do to make a candidate stand out. If your solution can say that it's tailored to that research and/or those direct insights, that helps a lot. I would share the research openly, and show off how much your product knows about cover letters.
Maybe offer different templates, depending on the nature of the job. Or have applicants tell your software about themselves and use AI to write a paragraph of personal introduction appropriate to that job.
Maybe have your system produce several fictional cover letters and run social media polls (or ask recruiters directly) which is better and why, and adapt your system accordingly. This lets you say, "We're constantly learning and adapting to new trends in hiring."
As AI inserts itself in the hiring process, it creates an opportunity for you, if you can learn what elements of a cover letter an AI hiring filter processes, and what it looks for.
Or maybe you can have users paste a link to the job description, and have AI process the job description to recommend the content that should be included in the cover letter. For example, for a job as a daycare manager your cover letter would be stronger if it said, "I love working with children." but if the job was as a driver, you'd be better off saying, "I'm at my most comfortable behind the wheel." etc. And AI can parse that pretty easilly.
There a million avenues to explore.
The gist is that a product that eliminates hassle is great. But a product that eliminates hassle AND improves outcomes is much better. And you may have that in your reach.

Yes, those recruiters may not care much about these words, but those sites will charge us when we need those words that no one cares about!
