Making $1 on the internet is empowering.
A few weeks ago, a friend and I had the idea to hack together a tool to verify a product's first sale and then automate a post to celebrate the builder/s achieving this milestone. We figured there are already so many who have crushed this goal, but countless others who are still on their journey towards it and we want to help incentivise more people to do so!
I think I’ll forever remember the day I got the notification of my first sale. Whilst it was such a memorable day for me, I would have loved to have shared it with others who have the same motivation.
Product
The app itself is basic:
→ You sign up with Twitter
→ Verify a sale >$1 with your payment provider
→ Get instantly featured on @onedollargoal Twitter
→ More fun things in the future 👀
We put around 3 weeks into this and are happy to release our first version today! The entire project has been on a restricted budget and we’ve actively tried to keep costs minimal. Literally, the only thing we’ve spent money on was the domain ($17 USD), apart from that, it’s just been our time during late nights and weekends.
