#1 Landing Page Inspiration Monday

Hey founders 👋

I am sure that everyone here loves mondays as opposed to the corporate world's monday syndrome. To make mondays better, I will post a landing page inspiration post every monday to get inspired and work the creative side of our brains.

I will start with streak.com this week. If you have a landing page and want me to analyze it next monday, please leave a comment!

Let's start with the hero block

Streak uses animation that changes the bold word. Variations are: "Manage candidates from Gmail, Manage leads from Gmail, Manage projects from Gmail, Manage partners from Gmail. I could not understand what 'candidates' mean in this case.

On the other hand, the buttons under the hero block are awesome. When I saw the hero the first thing that came to my mind was: How can I use this?

When you click on it, you can see a detailed explanation of each feature and use case. The design makes me feel good and creates trust. This is due to the whitespace in my opinion.

Brief explanation of Features

Here we can see a brief explanation of what Streak does and the main benefit of it: Keep the pipeline moving. The word choice is clever since it matches the overall friendly sense of the landing page.

The landing page has 3 main colors: Blue, White, and orange. The most important thing that made a difference, in this case, is the usage of blue. Whenever there is something to notice, the background is blue. As you will see in testimonials too.

Benefits

Here we can see the benefits Streak offers. The usage of images and icons keeps the overall friendly tone and design consistent.

If you are convinced you can add the extension to your browser with a click that makes the desired behavior, adding the extension, really easy. I would love to see a case study where they a/b test this block with and without this button.

Testimonials

750K is a huge number. When I saw this number, I thought that it could be a fake number but when I saw the 'VIEW ALL REVIEWS' button, I was convinced that the number is true. I don't know why but it could be a psychological trick.

However, I did not like the fact that when you click on the stars or the 'VIEW ALL REVIEWS' button, it directs you to Extension Store to see comments, and there I saw a lot of negative comments at the first sight.

Also if there are 750K users of Streak, there should be better reviews than the current reviews.

Corporate Testimonial

Here we can see a corporate testimonial. The companies that use Streak and the award that Google gave to Streak.

I think that the companies that use Streak are more convincing than the reviews in the testimonials block. They could have used these companies in the testimonials block instead of the reviews.

Here they also 'checked all the boxes' with especially Rigorous security and privacy and Comprehensive integrations. These are the concerns of bigger companies and they made it clear that Streak takes into account their needs as well as individual needs.

Conclusion

I loved this landing page. Especially the colors, the fact that they took both corporate needs and individual needs, and the ease of signing up.

The hero could be a little more clear and the testimonial block could be better in my opinion.

Overall my point to Streak's landing page is 9/10. Please give points below and let me know if I can make anything better :)

Note: I am not an expert but I saw a lot of landing pages since I spend a lot of time researching content, SEO, and marketing for Tractific. This is just my opinions and observations.

Hope you find it inspirational and useful.

Nice summary! Definitely added to my list of interesting UX Designs ;)
Speaking of which, I am wondering how you keep track of all the good designs that you find across the web? My note taking app is currently kind of "overflowing" and I find it hard to keep everything organised. Especially so that I can come back to good ideas later on to draw inspiration from them...

I just bookmark the websites :D

Yeah the good old bookmarks :) It's too bad one always looses his overview when there are too many things there :D

        1. 1

Yeah, I have 85 bookmarks on Chrome but started to divide them by folders. I was using Pocket once but it just didn't stick with me as a habit.

Oh although they have that browser extension? I guess saving a bookmark is just easier done, I also wanted to use Pocket once but never really sticked to it..

  2. 1

Looking forward to the second one!

I would give a solid 9 to this site. I agree with you on the hero though.
