1 on 1 video chats with other Indie Hackers
Networking is really important. Swapping tips and resources, finding opportunities, etc. And indie hacking can be pretty lonely.
I love Indie Hackers, but I haven't really made any serious, lasting friendships on here. I decided to create a platform that systematizes creating deeper bonds and friendships with other Indie Hackers: https://joinhivemind.com
The idea is that you commit to spending 1 hour a week meeting new people. You chat with 3 people for 15 minutes each.

Semi-interested. 15 minutes is a bit intimidating commitment for someone you never talked to. Maybe mix with an element of tinder style dual approval. Where paired hackers then chat on their own time. I see it as a way to make introductions, but would be interested in whatever setup you create.

Sign me up! I would love to do that, I believe each indie hacker has his dominant and weak areas and it's often good to throw your ideas or thoughts at someone that is coming at it from a different angle.

I would but I'm specifically trying to make more friends who are entrepreneurs. I have so many already that are devs, lol
Ok, I will add it then.
But this community is mostly focused on devs trying to build a product so most of them will be entrepreneurs too.
Love the idea! I was wondering the same thing, would love to create a more serious and lasting friendships with founders here! Did a couple of 1 on 1 chats before in other forums and it's always refreshing to get to know other founders who work in different types of businesses than mine and share our expertise and perspectives with one another!

It can be intimidating to break through the ice and talk to someone for the first time, but I've always found it was worth it.

I think your community is really neat! I hadn't heard of it before. I'm an INTJ and I've always found Myers-Briggs fascinating.

I hadn't heard of Crowdcast before, it looks interesting. From their website I'm just seeing 1 to Many. Is there support for 1 to 1 group stuff like you were talking about?
I would expect we have a lot of INTs here lol.
