1 year after - How should I learn marketing?
Hi guys,
I've been trying this past year to start projects. Had 3 ideas that I tried to translate into something real.
I'm a technical guy as many of us are here. I did a lot of mistakes and I'm still doing many so I'd like your help.
For example, for my first project I just developed the whole thing for 6 months and nobody came. Classic mistake!
The last project I did was Safeplace. It helps parents protect their kids against harassment and violence on socials.
Learning for my previous projects, I tried to do marketing first (only a landing page, did not code) and get it known by the target market but I didn't succeed at doing it. I never trained or learned anything about marketing so I feel I'm not doing things well.
So after €100 spent on Facebook ads and €50 on LinkedIn ads targeting parents between 45 and 65, I had some people come to the site but nobody registered.
Do you have recommandations about courses to learn marketing and online selling ? I feel I have to learn and I don't know where/how to start.

In the same boat, jumped on building (thankfully only MVP). Haven't spend any significant $ for marketing though. Which gives you false hope of user acceptance. Has to be organic!!
