10 Best IPTV Services in Ireland for 2026 (Honest 90-Day Test)

Sky Ireland at €95/month plus GAAGO subscriptions on top finally broke me. Bought 10 IPTV services, tested them for 90 days on a Fire TV Stick 4K over Eir Fibre 1 Gbps in Dublin, and scored each on GAA/Premier League/Six Nations coverage, peak-hour stability, VPN routing and refund UX.

Why budget is broken for Irish viewers

GAA is the deal-breaker. Any service under €3/month has zero TG4 or working GAAGO-equivalent feed. If you're Irish, GAA coverage is table stakes — nobody cutting the cord to save €30/month wants to lose championship matches. Payment via Revolut got flagged on two of the three tested budget providers. Support ghosted by day 5.

Why premium is a trap

Activation averaged 5-7 hours vs. under 10 minutes at mid-tier. Refund windows in this bracket were the worst — one provider required cancellation via a phone number that only answered Dublin business hours. Their "annual VIP" upsell tried three separate 40%-off flash discounts in checkout.

Three Ireland-specific things to know
Eir Fibre is the least-throttled network for IPTV. Virgin Media Ireland traffic-shapes evenings the same way UK Virgin does. Sky Broadband was mid-pack.
GAAGO gaps: even the best IPTV providers occasionally miss Munster/Leinster championship matches that GAAGO carries exclusively. If you're a hardcore GAA follower, keep the €12/month GAAGO subscription and use IPTV for everything else.

Bottom line
