10+ learnings about entrepreneurship I wish I knew sooner 😡

Founding www.survey101.io [my first SaaS!] , I've found very early on, it can be a painful journey.

You feel lost.

You have ups and down most times you work on your project.

I couldn't find a cheat sheet of things to think about before my first startup.

So here it is.

Here are 8 learnings about entrepreneurship I wish I knew sooner:

#1 Making decisions is so hard, but a 'bad decision' outweighs no decision.

#2 Customers are king. Focus on them constantly to win in the short and long term. And teach everyone you work with, the same thing!

#3 Don't rush to grow and scale. Take your time to understand your customers, the market, and even your own product. Rushing will only hinder you later on in your business career.

#4 Competition is no bad thing. It's a sign that you picked a good market. So don't over think your competition and create your own.

#5 "What does success look like?" for people, product, processes, and everything else. A tricky question I'm yet to understand, but I'm working on it.

Personally, this is my biggest threat as a first time entrepreneur.

#6 There are a lot of ups and downs as part of the journey.

Just keep calm and move forward.

#7 Your "gut" can be more data (or experience) driven than most people would admit.

I don't have too much gut feel at the moment, it's still fairly early on for www.survey101.io but over time, I hope I can "feel" the answer faster.

#8 Feedback is a gift - so appreciate it every time. Give and seek feedback all the time, in multiple formats.
