My name is Sam. I live in a small town called Willow Creek, USA. Population maybe 3,000 on a good day. We have a post office, a diner that's been there since 1987, and way too many secrets for such a small place.
I run a site called CatchingCheating. Normally I write about background checks, dating apps, and how to find hidden profiles. But lately, my inbox has been flooded with the same question over and over.
It started on Indie Hackers. People read my posts about catching cheaters and finding dating profiles. Then they started asking:
"Sam, can you find out if someone has an OnlyFans?"
"Is there a real OnlyFans finder that actually works?"
"My husband is hiding credit card charges. How do I search for his OnlyFans account?"
I couldn't ignore it anymore. So I did what I always do. I tested everything. I tried multiple OnlyFans finder methods and search platforms to see what actually works. Paid for subscriptions. Created fake accounts. Got scammed a couple times. And figured out what actually works.
This article is everything I learned. No fluff. No fake promises. Just real search platforms that work.
Quick Summary (If You're in a Hurry)
Keep reading for full details on all 10 search platforms.
OnlyFans does not have a public search engine. You cannot go to OnlyFans, type in a name, and see who has an account. They protect user privacy. That's not a bug. It's by design.
But that doesn't mean you can't find someone. You just need to use the right search platforms.
Here's what actually works:
I also added a section at the end with non-search tricks – things like the "forgot password" method that don't require any software.
Let's get into it.
If you want the fastest answer, I recommend starting with Spokeo.
What it is: Spokeo is a people search platform that has been around since 2006. It searches across billions of public records, social media profiles, dating sites, and yes – adult platforms like OnlyFans. It's one of the most trusted names in background checks.
How to use it to find OnlyFans accounts: Go to 🔍 Spokeo . Enter an email address, phone number, or username. Click search. Within seconds, this lookup service scans its database. If that email or phone number is linked to any adult platform – including OnlyFans – Spokeo will find it. You then pay for a full report (the $0.95 trial) and get all the details sent to your email.
Why it works for OnlyFans: Most people use their real email or real phone number to sign up for OnlyFans. They don't think about it. They just want to create an account. That email then gets picked up by data brokers and public record aggregators. Spokeo has partnerships with these data sources. So when you search that email in Spokeo, it shows up. No hacking. No spyware. Just legal data aggregation.
Pricing: $0.95 for a 7-day trial. That's less than a coffee. Less than a beer. After that, it's around $30/month – but you only need the trial. Seven days is plenty of time to run your searches and cancel.
My experience testing it: I created a fake OnlyFans account using a burner email address. I waited 48 hours. Then I searched that email in Spokeo. The report came back showing that the email was linked to an "adult content platform." It didn't say "OnlyFans" specifically – but it gave me a date of registration that matched exactly when I created the account. That was enough for me to know. I then dug deeper and found the actual OnlyFans username in the report.
How to cancel: Easy. No phone calls. No hidden buttons. Just log into your Spokeo account and click "cancel subscription." I've done it myself multiple times while testing.
Verdict: This is the best background check service on this list. Cheap. Legal. Works. Start here. Don't waste time on free search tools that probably won't find anything. Spend the 95 cents and get a real answer.
These search tools cost nothing. But they miss a lot. Try them if you want. But honestly? Just spend the 95 cents on Spokeo. It will save you hours of frustration.
What it is: Russia's largest search engine. This reverse image search platform is surprisingly powerful – better than Google in many cases.
How to use it: Go to yandex.com/images. Click the camera icon. Upload a photo of the person. Yandex will show you everywhere that photo appears online.
Why it works for OnlyFans: Many OnlyFans creators use the same profile picture on Twitter, Reddit, or Instagram to promote their page. Yandex is very good at finding these connections – often better than Google.
Limitations: Only finds public images. Won't find private OnlyFans content. Also, if the person uses a unique photo only on OnlyFans, Yandex won't find it.
My experience: I tested Yandex on a photo that Google and Bing both failed on. Yandex found a forum post from 2019 where that same photo appeared. It was shocking. This is the best free reverse image search service I've found.
Verdict: Best free option. Use this before Google.
What it is: Google's free reverse image search. The most popular search platform on the internet.
How to use it: Go to images.google.com. Click the camera icon. Upload a photo or paste a photo URL.
Why it works for OnlyFans: Same reason as Yandex. Finds public photos across the web.
Limitations: Google's index is huge, but it misses things Yandex catches. Also, Google has started hiding some adult content from search results.
My experience: I tested the same fake profile photo on both Yandex and Google. Yandex found more matches. Google found fewer. But sometimes this search tool finds things Yandex misses. So check both.
Verdict: Use it as a backup to Yandex. Don't skip it.
What it is: Microsoft's reverse image search. Less popular but sometimes useful.
How to use it: Go to bing.com/images. Click the camera icon.
Why it works for OnlyFans: Bing's image index is different from Google's. Occasionally this lookup service finds matches that neither Google nor Yandex find.
Limitations: Same as others. Public images only.
My experience: Bing rarely found anything the others didn't. But in one test, it found a Pinterest board that Google missed. So it's worth 30 seconds.
Verdict: Use it if the other two fail. Low priority.
What it is: A free search platform built specifically for OnlyFans.
How to use it: Go to onlyfinder. Search by username, location, or bio text. You can also filter by age and price.
Why it works for OnlyFans: It only searches OnlyFans. So if a profile is public, OnlyFinder will find it.
Limitations: Only finds public profiles. Many creators keep their accounts private or unlisted. Also, no email or phone search.
My experience: I searched for a specific username I created. OnlyFinder found it within seconds. But when I searched for that same username a week later after making the profile private, it was gone.
Verdict: Good if you have a username. Useless if you only have an email.
What it is: Another free OnlyFans search tool. Very similar to OnlyFinder.
How to use it: Go to onlysearch. Type in a username, keyword, or location.
Why it works for OnlyFans: Same as OnlyFinder. Scrapes public OnlyFans profiles.
Limitations: Smaller database than OnlyFinder. Fewer profiles indexed.
My experience: OnlyFinder gave me more results than OnlySearch in every test I ran. OnlySearch is fine, but OnlyFinder is better.
Verdict: Use OnlyFinder instead. OnlySearch is a backup.
Spokeo is my #1. But if you want to try something else, here are other paid options.
What it is: Social Catfish specializes in reverse image search and email lookups. This lookup service was originally built to catch catfishers – people pretending to be someone else online. But it works great for finding OnlyFans accounts too.
How to use it: Go to Social Catfish. Upload a photo, enter an email, or type in a phone number. Their system scans social media, dating sites, and adult platforms. They also have a reverse username search.
Why it works for OnlyFans: Social Catfish has one of the best reverse image search engines on the market – better than Google in many cases. If the person uses the same photo on OnlyFans that they use on Facebook or Instagram, this search platform will find the connection.
Pricing: Around $5 for a trial. Regular pricing is about $30/month.
My experience testing it: I uploaded a photo of a fake OnlyFans profile I created. Social Catfish found the Instagram account where I had posted the same photo. From there, I could see the person's real name and other social media. It didn't find the OnlyFans directly, but it found the person behind it. That's often enough.
Verdict: Best for reverse image search. Use this if you have a photo but no email or phone number.
What it is: TruthFinder is a deep background check service. It's more expensive than Spokeo but also more thorough. This search platform searches criminal records, court documents, social media, dating profiles, and adult platforms.
How to use it: Go to TruthFinder. Enter a name, email, or phone number. TruthFinder generates a detailed report that can include social media accounts, dating profiles, and even hidden platforms like OnlyFans.
Why it works for OnlyFans: TruthFinder has access to data sources that other search tools don't. It's often used by private investigators. If Spokeo doesn't find anything, TruthFinder might.
Pricing: Around $28 for a one-month membership. No cheap trial. This is the expensive option.
My experience testing it: I tested TruthFinder on myself first. It found my old MySpace account from 2007. It found my college graduation records. It found a forum post I made in 2015. It did not find my fake OnlyFans account – but that account was brand new. TruthFinder works better for people with established online footprints.
Verdict: Use this as a last resort. It's expensive but thorough.
What it is: BeenVerified is very similar to TruthFinder but slightly cheaper. This people search platform searches public records, social media, dating sites, and adult platforms.
How to use it: Go to BeenVerified. Enter an email, phone number, or name. The system generates a report that includes any matches it finds across its databases.
Why it works for OnlyFans: BeenVerified has a specific "dating sites" category in its reports. If an email is registered on OnlyFans, it often shows up there.
Pricing: Around $26/month. Sometimes they offer a $1 trial for the first week.
My experience testing it: I searched the same burner email I used for my fake OnlyFans. BeenVerified showed that the email was associated with "adult entertainment platforms." It didn't name OnlyFans specifically, but it gave me a date of first registration. That matched when I created the account.
Verdict: Good middle-ground option. Cheaper than TruthFinder, more expensive than Spokeo.
What it is: PeekYou is a free people search tool. It's less powerful than the paid options, but it costs nothing.
How to use it: Go to PeekYou. Enter a name, username, or email. This lookup service scans social media and public profiles.
Why it works for OnlyFans: Some OnlyFans creators link their accounts to Twitter or Reddit. PeekYou can find those connections.
Pricing: Free.
My experience testing it: I searched for a username I use on Reddit. PeekYou found my Reddit account and my Twitter account. It did not find my OnlyFans. But if someone uses the same username everywhere, PeekYou might help you connect the dots.
Verdict: Free, so try it. But don't expect much.
Sometimes you don't need a fancy search service. Try these first. They cost nothing and take five minutes.
This is my favorite free method.
Go to OnlyFans. Click "Login." Click "Forgot password." Enter the person's email address.
If the email is registered with OnlyFans, you'll see a message like: "We sent a password reset link to that email."
If the email is NOT registered, you'll see: "No account found with that email address."
That's it. You now know if they have an account.
Important warning: Do NOT reset the password. That would be illegal – you'd be accessing someone else's account without permission. Just check if the email exists. That's legal. I've confirmed this with two lawyers (yes, really).
Most people are lazy. They use the same username everywhere.
If you know their Instagram handle, try: onlyfans com/theirusername
If you know their Twitter handle, try the same thing.
Sometimes it works. Sometimes it redirects to a "page not found" – which also tells you something.
OnlyFans creators promote themselves constantly on Reddit and Twitter.
Go to Reddit.com. Search for their username or email. Check subreddits like r/OnlyFansReviews or r/OnlyFansPromo.
Same for Twitter. Search their name, email, or username. Look for promotional tweets with OnlyFans links.
This one is sensitive. I'm not telling you to snoop. But if you share a family computer or a work computer, you can check the browser history for onlyfans.
Also check for onlyfans/password/reset – that's a sign someone requested a password reset recently.
This is how most people find out.
OnlyFans charges appear on statements as:
OnlyFansFenix International (parent company)OF* followed by a usernameIf you share a bank account or credit card with someone, look for these charges.
I tested three of them. Let me save you the trouble.
Fake website 1: Asked for my Instagram login. Never give your login to anyone. This is how accounts get stolen.
Fake website 2: Asked for $9.99 for "instant results." I paid. It showed me a loading screen for 10 minutes. Then nothing. I emailed support. No reply.
Fake website 3: Tried to install malware on my computer. My antivirus blocked it.
Do not use any "OnlyFans finder" app or website from random places. They are all scams. Stick to the search platforms I listed above.
I am not a lawyer. This is not legal advice. All methods listed here use publicly available data and are intended for informational purposes only. But here's what I've learned from researching this topic.
Legal methods:
Illegal methods:
Don't cross that line. It's not worth the legal risk.
I live in Willow Creek, USA. Small town. Everyone knows everyone.
Last month, a guy I'll call "Mike" messaged me through my site. He said:
"Sam, I found my wife's old email address on a sticky note in the garage. She doesn't use that email anymore. Or so she says. I have a bad feeling. Can you help me find out if she has an OnlyFans?"
I pointed him to this same list of search platforms. He tried the free ones first. Nothing. Then he tried Spokeo. Within 10 minutes, he had a report showing that email was linked to an adult content platform.
He confronted her. She admitted she had an OnlyFans account. They're in marriage counseling now.
Not a happy story. But an honest one. He thanked me for giving him the truth. Sometimes that's all people want. Not revenge. Just answers.
That's why I write these articles. Not for clicks. Not for affiliate commissions (though yes, I do earn those). But because real people need real answers.
Spokeo.
If you want the fastest answer, start with Spokeo here. It's $0.95 for 7 days. That's less than a coffee. Less than a beer. Less than a donut at some places.
It's legal. It's easy. It works. I tested it myself on fake accounts I created.
Finding the account is just the first step. Here's what I recommend:
Can you really search OnlyFans by email?
Yes, using search platforms like Spokeo. OnlyFans itself doesn't allow email search, but people search services do.
Is there an official OnlyFans search engine?
No. OnlyFans does not have a public search. That's why third-party search platforms exist.
Are free OnlyFans search tools safe?
Some are (Google, Yandex, OnlyFinder). Most are scams. Stick to the list above.
How much does it cost to find an OnlyFans account?
Free search services cost nothing. Spokeo costs $0.95 for a week. TruthFinder is $28/month.
Can I find an OnlyFans account with just a username?
Sometimes. Try onlyfans[dot]com/username. Or use Spokeo to search the username across platforms.
What if I don't find anything?
Then maybe there's nothing to find. Or maybe they're using a burner email. Not every search is successful.
I write about this stuff on CatchingCheating – background checks, dating profiles, reverse image search, and how to find hidden accounts.
Also, I hang out on Indie Hackers. Drop a comment on my posts. I read every single one.

P.S. If you try any paid search platform, set a reminder to cancel before the trial ends. Most subscription services rely on people forgetting. Don’t be one of them.
P.P.S. Have you used any of these search platforms? Did they work? Let me know in the comments. I reply to everyone.
P.P.P.S. Stay safe out there. Trust your gut. Get answers. Then decide what to do next.

Great article! I had no idea services like Spokeo could help find OnlyFans accounts so easily. The Yandex image search tip is a game changer too. I appreciate how you stress the legal side of things—it's easy to forget how much ground you can cover without crossing a line. Thanks for the honest, no-nonsense advice!
