Great post! I really need to DM more. Any thoughts on follower count, maybe try to start with someone around your level? My acct is pretty small, kinda don’t want to harass too many big fish yet until I’ve built up a little more momentum.

Don't bother about the follower count. anything that is 100+ and active is alright.
Write to big accounts, if your offer is valuable they will respond
