100% YoY growth for the past 2 years but still looking for a growth marketing expert

We have finally reached to $15k MRR and I still juggle several things on an ongoing basis. On the marketing side, I tried several things like running pay per click campaigns, writing blog posts, sending out cold emails and talking 100s of prospects regarding their needs... However, I'm more of a product/engineering guy so I don't know much about this world.

I think we're finally at this stage where we can hire someone to help us on the marketing side. So far I tried posting on AngelList, Linkedin and Upwork but it's really hard to find like-minded people. I even tried MicroAcquire to see if there's interest over there 🤦‍♂️

Since we're still relatively small, we can not hire anyone who have big expectations on the compensation side. To be honest, it's mostly about finding a team mate who can live and breath for the growth of our SaaS. Once the company grows, everyone on the team benefits from the upside.

Long story short, I'm looking for someone to own everything related to marketing. Managing SEO and content efforts, outreaching prospects with email marketing, being active on social media to build an audience. There're probably tons of things that I don't know about this world so that's why I think I need to find someone passionate about this world.

How did you find your first marketing expert? How much time should I dedicate here?
