You can't post at all until you've built up a track record of replies — so "reply into existing conversations, not cold posts" isn't just the strategy that worked, it's the only move available before posting rights unlock. Two days into replying on a couple of threads and it's already gotten more engagement than I'd expect from a cold post with zero followers anyway — so the platform's own gate ends up teaching the right lesson by accident.

That was the reason I wanted to share the numbers instead of presenting it as a generic social-growth playbook. The workflow came first: I was already getting better results by finding relevant conversations and replying into them, then I built around that process.
The 102-to-270 increase is still a small sample, so I’m not treating it as proof that every account should automate replies. The stronger signal is that the same approach produced both follower growth and more relevant conversations. If the tool only increased the follower count without improving who I was talking to, I wouldn’t consider it a useful result.
