10x engineers the lifesavers of a start-up

Last week there was a Tweet on Twitter that went viral on how to spot a 10x engineer that is supposedly the reason that your startup will succeed.

Twitter was furious. Many people replied. But, I couldn't put my thoughts into a simple reply.

Still, I couldn't stop thinking about this viral Tweet either. So, I took the time to reflect on the tweet in a blog post.

The bottom line is that, yes, there are 10x engineers.
But, they might look quite different from what we imagine. And more importantly, the way to success is a diverse and inclusive team.

So let's focus on building a 10x team, a 10x more inclusive environment, and on being 10x more supportive of each other. Let's focus on making tech a welcoming place!
