Hello friends!
I'd like to have your opinions about something that is bothering my thoughts. I'm 26 years old, I spent a lot of my time studying in order to have specific degrees and I'm in the '' job market'' since just one year and I work in a food-tech startup as growth manager.
I've always have so many opportunities but I've never taken action so now I want to take action and I feel I'm ready. I've always been the kind of shy guy in the back of the classroom.
I found out this community and it is exactly what I needed and I really spend hours here reading your stories and I feel inspired. I know what to do now.
The only thing blocking me is that most of you are coders, and I don't want to spend and wait other 6-9 months to learn a language such as javascript and then start building something.
So my questions are:
I know I can start right away doing some stuff without coding, as Pieter Levels says, we can just need a spreadsheet, but at some point I think to build a product is a must. (right?)
Ps: I know how to build stuff with Wordpress but of course I think to build web apps is kind of limited.
Hope you can give me some opinions of yours.
Thanks!
If you want to build an app and have time learn HTML, CSS, JS and a little SQL.
Then you can create web apps that scale to millions of users with very low costs.
Tech stack would be React/NextJS and https://supabase.io/
But learning to ship is another muscle and can be done with no code.
Think of ideas that don't require a "product" and can be built with spreadsheets.
Thanks so much for the info, I didn't know supabase. I will try to dig more in the JS world. Other tools such as bubble.io aren't worthy in your opinion?
Thanks again
Man, I entirely get you. I'm in your same spot right now and we even have the same age. Hope you get some good advice!
Hope that too. The fact that we are trying to find a solution I think is already a step towards the success. Keep going man!
