133 free reports, 45 websites, zero sales. Here is what I got wrong.

Four days ago I posted about PafCore, a free report that names the file slowing your site. So many people commented, several ran it on real sites. Here is what happened next.

The numbers

133 reports finished
45 different websites
39 of those from people with no account
7 accounts in total
0 sales
Scans per day: 12, 16, 20, 16, 7, 5

What I got wrong

Not the diagnosis. People believe the report. @YFinanceAI fixed all three things it found. The problem is it gives everything away and asks for nothing, so people read it and leave.

The price was worse. I was selling $5 credit packs. At my traffic I would need hundreds of scans to make twenty dollars. @fireview and @GregoryScottHenson both told me $19/mo is the wrong shape, and that an agency wants a report with its own name on it priced per client site.

It is now $12 a site. One agency beats nine credit packs, and I only need one.

What changed because of you

@rajivnaskar, @ReSetMEE and @omri_ben_shoham all asked the same thing:

can credits answer "did my fix work". They can now.

@hadenawi asked about pages behind a login, that works.

@WoKNoK wanted the route next to the file, shipped.

@N1veed asked about credit expiry, it is on the pricing page instead of buried in a comment.

@alexecho1 asked me to keep a column for people who came back and used it. It still reads zero. I did not enjoy typing that.

What I need

@MathisUnlimited said to spend a week with small agencies managing a handful of client sites. I think that is right, and it is the only price on my list that pays at my size.

Where do those people actually hang out? And what makes one of them open a report from a stranger?
