Building DeepReachAI: an AI that researches leads and writes personalized outbound emails, so founders don't need a $60-90K SDR or hours of manual prospect research. Pre-seed, solo founder, no team yet.
A few things I've learned getting here.
1) Distribution mattered more than polish. I spent the first month replying to pain-point threads on Reddit and X instead of adding features, and that's where every signup came from. Not one from an actual launch post.
2) I expected the personalization engine to be the hook, but it's the "we never automate LinkedIn or scrape WhatsApp" line that gets people to actually connect their accounts. Compliance turned out to matter more than the AI part.
3) Reply rates on cold outbound sit around 3-5% industry-wide, and almost nobody's solving the "write something worth replying to" problem. Most tools stop at finding the lead or sending the email.
Still deciding how far to push automation (multi-channel, auto follow-ups) versus staying lean. If you've built outbound or sales tools before, curious what broke for you at scale.
deepreachai.tech if you want to poke at it.
Thanks! I’ve just sent it over.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts whenever you have a chance.
