My name is Derick David and I’m the co-founder & CEO of Hikre School.

A little info about me: I'm the 1st Filipino alumni of Apple’s Developer Academy, and a former Chief Design of Pactio, a journalism startup that was incubated at Stanford University.

So, we're building a cohort-based education platform that teaches students iOS development and product design skills for 12 weeks.

We like to describe it as Lambda School for App Development but focused on SE Asia. The goal here is to create a cost-efficient college alternative for people looking to gain new skills that are geared towards technology.

I built this startup as part of my vision to bring a piece of Silicon Valley to the Philippines by leveraging my experiences and skills acquired abroad.
