I love the typing text and the landing page looks great. How long did it take you to build the app and the website?
The website seems to be made with Wordpress, so I'm sure most of the work went into the app! I love the idea - and would definitely use something like this had I a dog!
The website was a template, not Wordpress, but you're right, most of the work went into the app since I'm not a very good web developer. I did the typing effect on the text myself but the layout was all a template, you can see the credit for the template in the footer. And the app took about 5-6 months to make.
What were some things that took the most amount of time while developing the app?
Definitely the static maps and the polyline on the map (the map route). Getting the Polyline on the interactive Google Map within the app was pretty easy, but putting that polyline on to a static map image was a pain, it took a few weeks to polish and make it perfect.
