$18k/m with a translation app

Two of my friends from Ukraine are currently making $18k/m with their translation app, Mate Translate. I spoke to Alex, who is a self-taught developer/college drop out, about building their indie business. The two are keen to take on Google Translate by offering a translation app for power users.
