I created a paid chrome extension for facebook group lead generation and now am faced with the problem of how to receive payments.

Initially I thought chargebee acts as a payment gateway as well as billing management only to discover yesterday that I need to have merchant account on payment gateways before I can go live.

It's quite frustrating.

Imagine, we've coded up 99% of chargebee integration.

Please is there any startup out there that serve as payment gateway and recurring billing management?

PS: I'm from Africa and not allowed by stripe and paypal

Could you set up a company in Estonia, via their e-residency programme, and therefore qualify for Stripe/Paypal that way?

Am I missing something? As far as I know Stripe is not available for Estonia: https://stripe.com/global

You may well be right. I'm pretty sure Paypal is, though. ISTR, when I was reading about eResidency, that a lot of Ukranian entrepreneurs set up in Estonia to gain access to paypal.

Hi! PayPro Global handles recurring billing management with all the sales taxes, compliance, and reports.

      Yea, discover them yesternight.

Spent a lot of time research about them online and here on indiehacker.

      Would open an account today.

      Thanks so much.

I use Paddle for a Chrome extension (https://www.checkbot.io/) and it's been working well. They take care of EU VAT for you which can be a big plus.

I don't remember if it uses Stripe underline (but it shouldn't bother since they become the resellers) but you can use Paddle. They manage all taxes and act exactly as a reselker, then they prepare for you the reverse invoice you should send them. This shouod solve your problems

      You are right bro.

      Will go for paddle.

I know how it feels like, we (Serbia) have been in the same situation before 2015.

I would start with easiest solutions like trying to search for payment gateway which can work with your country. Maybe 2co would do the job? Check out this page - https://www.2checkout.com/global-payments/

If there is no other option you can try to set up company in Estonia, or USA, depends which best suits you.

      Thank you bro.

I just discover paddle. I think it should fit what I wanted to use it for at least.

Hey, I have no knowledge about this particular issue since we just use Stripe, however, I remember listening to an IH podcast about a guy that was doing payment processing in Africa: https://www.indiehackers.com/podcast/072-shola-akinlade-of-paystack

Hopefully it helps or gets you on the right lines.

      Thanks Jamie.

Actually am using paystack to process payment locally but this extension is targeted to people abroad not local people.

I heard paystack has started processing dollar payments but its kind of limited a d can't accept all cards. I have heard this from from my friends who has experienced it.

      Thanks once again.
