1st customer after two months of struggle

I am Darshan, founder of serpdog.io.
I opened my laptop in the morning and found that one user had bought our plan. It was a very special moment for me as I was not able to garner customers from the cold emailing, and the main thing was I was left with no money. I think what has worked for me is the number of backlinks and the quality blogs which I have written were able to garner views.
I was very demotivated after one month of launching because of zero customers but this moment taught me that God will always reward you someday as a prize for your struggle.

As I said cold emailing doesn't work out for me, but one thing I was sure that increasing backlinks will increase traffic on my website one day.
So I used to keep writing and uploading at least one blog a week, sharing on websites like medium.com, dev.to, reddit.com, and other websites. One blog I wrote on scraping google maps reviews: https://serpdog.io/blog/scrape-google-maps-reviews, generated more that 200 backlinks (according to ubersuggest). This blog was very unique and it's ranking kept increasing day by day, which also helped me in generating the traffic.
Gratz on acquiring the first customer! I can relate how difficult it is to acquire customers as I am struggling to land the first customer myself.
May I ask how a blog article can generate "organic" backlinks? I understand when you share this article on medium.com, dev.to, reddit.com, and other similar sites, you can include a "originally posted on" link. I consider these backlink non-organic because you, the author, created these links. Do you happen to know where the rest of the backlinks come from? I imagine there may be some twitter accounts sharing the link here and there but reaching 200 backlinks is pretty amazing and I'd like to learn more.
