1st product ever after years of lurking!
Hey guys,
Super long-time lurker here (4/5 years), and finally got the guts to create something last month.
It's a Shopify app that helps merchant recover their abandoned carts using manual communication via SMS. As soon as a customer abandons his carts, I reach out to him manually, try to help him, and ultimately close the sale for the merchant!
It's my first product ever so I would love your feedback on it!

Very cool idea, Saïd. Congratulations on your first product! I recently found out there's a lot of space for "middlemen" in ecommerce to help buyers get what they want and merchants to make more sales.
I can't give much feedback but I can lend an ear if anything is on your mind! What's the experience been like for you so far? What's been most challenging or surprising?
Hey thanks mekkie! It's only the beginning, I'd say building the product was quite easy for me since I'm a software engineer. I find the most challenging thing is getting the word out there, be it via paid ads or direct outreach to Shopify merchants. I'm also always tempted to work on the product instead of doing marketing, so I have to stay disciplined haha
that's a problem every engineer I know has haha. but actually, if you'd like any ecomm/shopify marketing resources just let me know and I can send them your way. recently read a few good ones!

Congrats on building your first product!
There's a lot of opportunity in recovering carts for merchants. I'd suggest looking into doing something similar for abandoned Stripe checkout sessions as well :)

You're right, that's a great idea. I'm trying to target a niche market at the moment - Shopify merchants - but having the same system for abandoned Stripe checkouts totally makes sense, thanks for your input :-)
