I am excited to share the story of Barak Simon and Tomer Gabbai of Frontitude (https://www.frontitude.com/) and how they acquired their first users. Enjoy the read!
--
The idea to start Frontitude was born in an internal Hackathon of their previous startup.
--
They validated the need for a tool that enables collaboration on UX copy after surveying 50+ members of the UX writers community and talking to dozens of product teams.
--
Barak and Tomer wanted to learn how UX writers collaborate with product teams, so they decided to start a series of blog posts called UX Writing Over Coffee and interviewed leading UX writers from top tech companies like Booking.com, Coinbase and Microsoft
--
They built a Figma plugin that enables their customers to collaborate over copy and create one source of truth during the design phase. To their surprise, they started seeing Figma users installing the plugin without any marketing effort, only because it was available on the Figma marketplace.
