#2 on Product Hunt - Tailwind Starter Kit - Free & Open Source extension for TailwindCSS
Hey guys, we released back in December 2019 Tailwind Starter Kit but today we posted it on Product Hunt and it was picked to be featured, now on position #2 <3.
So I thought it would be nice to share it here too.
The starter kit comes with React, Vue, Angular and plain Javascript Code for components like Modals, Tooltips, Dropdowns etc and a lot of HTML elements. It does not change or add any CSS to the already one fromTailwindCSS.

How did the recent TailwindUI affect the popularity of the repo? Did it slow down because they took some market share or did it increase because of the extra marketing they did for Tailwind CSS?

Sincerely I don't know when the TailwindUI was launched, I know it was in march, if you look at this graph it seems steady growing: https://star-history.t9t.io/#creativetimofficial/tailwind-starter-kit All the entities (TaiwlindUI, TailwindCSS, Tailwind Starter Kit) will grow in future as we see this trend and we want to deliver high-quality products, no matter the framework. Since we have a lot of Javascript components I see this more as a complementary/extension to the TailwindCSS, not a competition to TailwindUI.
