Here's this page: https://socialscri.be/
I've gotten over 100 visitors this month still nobody created an account. :/
Hi Kunal,
Here's some feedback for your page: https://www.loom.com/share/865c52ba4d054c4d87cae5bfbeb1c5cb
Let me know if you have any questions!
Wow. That was great. Thanks a ton.
I removed a lot of unnecessary texts. I'm in the process of creating a demo video. I've added a testimonial from Arvid Kahl and a Return on Investment calculator.
What do you think?
Btw, I'd love to see how much conversion rates increase would your landing page for GrowthMarketer get. I can set you up with a discount if you'd like. If you want to try this out, let me know I'll start working on an integration with ActiveCampaign :)
As someone who's protective of my personal data, requiring me to give up personal data to see a demo is a no go for me. Also - I don't want to end up on a mailing list to see a demo. What about creating a demo video or animation to highlight the power of your tool versus an actual implementation where people have to subscribe? I saw that popup asking for permission to my google data and instantly closed it. Just a thought :)
Makes sense. I just thought an interactive demo will help here.
I am not sure exactly in which cases I would use this. Aren't people less likely to link their social accounts than simply giving their email?
I am not sure what the smallest group of permissions you can request, but, for example, on Twitter I have to agree to share a lot more than my email address:
Also, on GitHub it can "act on my behalf":
I make sure to take the least of permissions I can. And store even fewer. On Twitter, this is the minimum. On Github, the "act on your behalf" is a general statement but all this integration can do/act on is listed below aka just view your email address.
Who is your ideal client?
People who run newsletters.
This looks great! I will use this for my newsletter:)
Thanks! let me know how it goes.
Hi Kunal,
I think the landingpage looks nice and is clear. A couple of points I think could maybe help you out
I totally respect end user privacy and this is already the bare minimum amount of permissions i can ask for. When i ask Twitter for the email address viewing permission, i get this tweets viewing permission for free and besides this is all from their public profile
Tweets and cold emails mostly. Recently Arvid Kahl who runs The Bootstrapped Founder newsletter started using it and he did a bunch of generous promotion
I'm already outreaching to people. But I've been slow.
As far as I understand, it allows you to add a social button that then will run oAuth flow and adds subscribers to the customer's newsletter platform? If that's correct then I have a few ideas below. If not, then your explanations weren't enough for me to get what you're offering.
Yep. All buttons are basically a link that's like https://socialscri.be/to/<username>/with/google you can use them everywhere
Thats a nice idea but dont you think as browser and potential subscriber when you click on a link on social media you'd expect to see some landing page not a bunch of oauth permission pages.
I would just open a popup (not sure if you can do that with link wrappers that all social platforms add) with something like "By clicking the button below you'll subscribe to the ABC's newsletter" and then redirect right inside that popup. Taking people out of their stream to some extra landing and then through popup is a lot.
And then on second thought, isn't it just simpler for them to type email in that popup?
