2 week SaaS challenge

Hi everybody!

I am going to start a 2 week challenge to build and launch a SaaS (in public)!

I am gearing up for 2 weeks off of work, so I figured that would be a perfect time to get rolling on my next project. More details on my SaaS challenge below.

I am going to post all of my progress to twitter and right here on IHs. Maybe even make progress videos? But not committed to that idea yet.

You can follow along with my 2 week SaaS challenge on my twitter: https://twitter.com/nickfrosty
or right here on IndieHackers (@nickfrosty)

Who wants to join me and follow along or build their next project?

The SaaS I am going to work on: Boomerang.link, a link reminder tool.

The idea: when browsing around the internet, I find lots of links that I want to save for later. Or at least just be reminded about at a later time. Maybe I find a specific article on a tech stack that I want to learn later, and it's a really good article, but I am not in the right headspace to read it. Or at the right time to learn the content. Enter Boomerang.link. When I find these articles/links, I can boomerang them back to myself for a later date. Maybe a day, maybe a month.

My thoughts on this project: Personally, this project will cover some new territory for me. Which is good. But since I am trying to move fast, like 2 weeks fast, I am also going to be using code I am familiar with and maybe even reuse some code from other projects. Boilerplate stuff like the basic user system. I am best with PHP and Tailwind, so that is going to be the brunt of the code/design.

But like I said, there are some new things for me to learn. Like browser extensions. I have never made or published a chrome/firefox plugin before. I am really excited to have a good project to learn with.
