20 days ago, I launched IdeaPz with a simple idea: help people see if others would be willing to pay for their project, and how much.
With the feedback I’ve received, I think I now better understand my own product and what it can actually bring.
I’ve realized that very niche projects aren’t necessarily the best fit for IdeaPz right now. The audience is still small and more tech-focused, so projects that can appeal to a wider audience will probably get more value from it.
I also made it clear that people should only vote if they could genuinely see themselves buying the product if it were launched. There are already fewer votes, but I think the votes I get now are better signals.
IdeaPz obviously doesn’t replace market research. Talking directly to your target audience will always be important. IdeaPz is simply a quick way to get a few signals before deciding whether it’s worth building.
I’ve tried to make all of this clearer on the site. Feel free to share your feedback, post your ideas if you’re interested, and I hope IdeaPz can be useful to you!
