200+ directories where you can list your product for free and get some customers

Hey everyone,
While I was going through the pretty tedious process of submitting my own product to different directories, I decided to document everything in one place.
I ended up compiling a list of 200+ directories where founders can list their product for free.
A few interesting things I noticed along the way:

  • Some of them bring small but consistent traffic over time
  • A few actually help with SEO and indexing on Google
  • And surprisingly, a couple even brought early paying users, one of them was Pitchwall (Didn't knew it before, now I recommend it because of that).
Most of them are free to submit, with only a few offering optional paid boosts. Overall, it turned out to be a decent distribution experiment rather than just a one time submission exercise.
Thought it might be useful for other founders here who are trying to get their first users without spending much on ads.
If anyone wants the list, here is the list: https://workspace.mindnote.online/share/638e93b0-8f5a-41df-b4a1-23c3ac6cada8
    Also curious:
Have you found any free distribution channels that actually worked long-term, or do directories mostly just give short bursts of traffic?
