If you're planning to set some goals for the year ahead, I wanted to share my own goal-setting structure that I follow using Notion 👇
To begin with, I write a statement that describes the long-term parameters I'd like in an ideal life. This allows me to highlight the larger goals that I need to work towards 🚀

### 2. Breaking down yearly goals
Once I've identified these high-level goals, I use a series of kanban boards to break them down into actionable items on a yearly basis. These are the key goals that will slowly help me move towards my dreams.

From here, I concentrate on breaking these down further into weekly tasks. By focussing on weeks instead of months, it allows me to remain more responsive to changes that can constantly pop up.

I'll then break these tasks down even further to a daily level. This allows me to structure my days and helps keep me motivated with a frequent completion cycle.
I'll spend 10 minutes before each day reviewing my progress, then identify what needs to be added for the day ahead.

Keeping track of progress is essential to help maintain consistency.
I've created a fulfillment calculator to keep a reflection of my daily thoughts.
The daily fulfilment score can help identify when negative patterns start to emerge.

If you're setting goals for the new year, remember to break items down into smaller, actionable steps that can help you slowly work towards your preferred outcomes.
Do you have a template link we can use?
