1/ @TriciaWang is the co-founder of Sudden Compass. She's known for popularizing 'Thick Data' (integrating qual & ethnographic methods to uncover people’s emotions, stories and models of their world). Her TED talk "The human insights missing from big data" is a must-watch.

2/ Having previously led User Research at Vox Media and Mailchimp, @greggcorp now looks after all things research related at Signal. Gregg's soon-to-be-released book 'Research Practice' just hit number one on Amazon's pre-release list 👀

3/ @productherapist is a User Research Lead at Zalando in Berlin and co-founded the online community 'User Research Academy'. Nikki is more active on blogs than Twitter, but we recommend following her so you don't miss her Medium drops.

4/ @indiyoung was one of the most popular nominees for this list. She's an independent qual data scientist and has 20 years of experience pioneering ways to understand and support customers and employees. She's also got a great newsletter.

5/ @RoyOlende is Head of UX Research at Zapier and host of the new @scaleresearch podcast. He tweets about something new and interesting every day, with topics related to ResearchOps and his newsletter System17 appearing regularly.

6/ The leading authority on discovery research, @ttorres has some amazing talks and workshops on topics like contiuous product discovery.

Aside from her tweets, Teresa has a whole backlog of blogs and workshops on her website producttalk.org that you should reeeeally check out.

7/ It might new to the UXR scene, but @MyOpinionX has got some great bite-sized Twitter thread and deep dive blog posts every week on the future of user research. I've linked a thread of OpinionX threads below, including a look into mixed methods research that comes highly recommended ⭐️

8/ Aryel Cianflone is a UX Research Lead at LinkedIn and leads up @mixedmthods, a UX Research podcast and 12,000-strong Slack community (which you can join at mixed-methods.org). I previously quoted Aryel on one of our blog posts "What is Mixed Methods Research?".

9/ The team at @dscout are constantly interviewing and featuring guests posts from the most interesting names in UXR. Their blog 'People Nerds ' features loads of amazing articles from the dscout team and guest writers, updated all the time with new content.

10/ @JnBlatz is a User Experience Designer & Researcher at Fidelity Investments. 2 years ago, Jen co-founded the online community UX Research & Strategy, where she is super active sharing all the latest UXR resources she finds on a daily basis.

11/ @AlbaNVillamil is an independent UX Researcher, specialising in design for the social sector. Alba specialises in working with underserved populations like refugees & domestic violence survivors and tweets on topics like research ethics and addressing race in design.

12/ @al_clevin is the CEO of UXRCollective, one of the biggest UX Research learning resources online and the organisers of the biggest event in our calendar, UXRConf. Considering the calibre of UXRConf speakers, it's not surprising that Alec's tweets are full of golden nuggets.

13/ @sladner is Principal Researcher of Strategy at Workday and has held similarly senior roles at Amazon and Microsoft. Sam's a particular favourite tweeter of ours at OpinionX because Sam is the leading authority on Mixed Methods Research (she literally wrote the book on it).

14/ @KateTowsey is the big name in ResearchOps - an emerging speciality in UXR that she pretty much defined in 2018. Kate also founded the rapidly growing community of ResearchOps people around the world. We've also heard there's a book dropping in 2022 👀

15/ Leading the ResearchOps community today is @HollyFace1975. As well as being co-chair of the ReOps community, Holly is Director of Research & ResearchOps at 15five, a performance management startup based in the Bay Area.

16/ @tsharon was the first account I followed in the world of user research 😊 Until recently, Tomer was MD and Head of User Research & Metrics at Goldman Sachs. He has since gone into stealth mode on his new venture, which I'm veeeery excited to learn more about soon.

17/ @beh_zod is the founder of Yet Another Studio (I'm not being sarcastic, that's the real name). Behzod was previously Head of Research & Analytics Operations at Slack and a Senior UX Researcher at Facebook. He's also a Reforge contributor for their course on customer insights.

18/ @laurafaulkner is the Head of Research at Texas-based cloud-giant Rackspace Technology. Laura is a regular on podcasts and interviews with big names in the industry such as Steve Portigal and in communities like UX Research & Strategy.

19/ @sofiaqt is the CEO of EnjoyHQ, a research repository tool that helps teams to search, organise and share all of their user research data in one place. As a UXR startup founder, Sofia's tweets cover a broad range of topics from repository strategies and customer acquisition to UX design.

20/ I love @EmmaBoulton's no-nonsense approach to UX (and her lovely family updates too!). By day, Emma is Director of User Research at Babylon Health, having previously filled research roles at Monotype and in the BBC’s Audience Research team.

21/ Jeff Sauro is a Principal at quantitative research firm @MeasuringU and the author of 6 UX books. Jeff and his team focused on statistical analysis of human behavior and quantifying the user experience. They're a high-volume tweeter, so possibly not for everyone, but they have some real nuggets in their posts.
