Hey guys, I have an idea for a new software that could possibly be profitable.

I don’t know where to start with the research...besides asking other software inventors

A customer interview could put my idea at risk and people don’t like signing NDA’s...

What’s the point of making a landing page if I can describe it in a paragraph?

I basically just want to sell this idea

Do some research to see if the idea could work?
Do some customer interviews?
Have a shot a creating a landing page to communicate what your idea is about?
See if there any no code tools you can use to create a MVP?

Hi Brian. I feel your pain man. Dont worry its a fun learning process. I have been attacking myprojectt as a non-tehnical founder for few months now. What you want to do firts is put all your ideas down somewhere for your project. Think of your users and how wthey will use it. Think about how you can ease their pain and free up time for them. Just start going nuts with some pen and paper. Then move onto the acutal productstart sketchinggn some wirframes out (Signup page, dashboards, the actual tool itslef. Look to some other pieces of software and snag some ideas you like of how they set their user interface up etc. Then you want to find a good wireframing application and make some frames. ITs easier than it sounds( alittle time consuming​ but uressentially​y developing your poroduct and bringin it to life. Then start thinking of where your potential users live online and start offering your help or cretaing some light content that can get them talking to you (this can help whittle your product even better.) I like to go to freelancing sites and talk to devlopers to gain insight as to what the build will need(frameworks, coding languages​s, time frames​ etc.. This will open your eyes even further). You can also find some good interactive designers to make a mockup of your product for you on fiverr. You can take those mockups and produce a good landing page and start garnering​ potential users and feedback. Hope this helps out.
