Just released a little project to help those of us who need to work with API's but are not software engineers. It's a guide to the terms, how to read docs, and basically how to actually get some value from API's.
Would love some feedback, and hope that it helps someone out! There are live examples on there that you can play with in a variety of tools.

Great article and really helpful. Learned some things. Maybe you can do one for Chrome Extension or for a new API you about to work with. I often find a gap between what the documentation has and what I need to do.

Awesome! I have a little side project going on, trying to create something similar to the Parabola tool - focused on showing data so that a non dev / statistician / biz person can view and understand that data as opposed to looking at a bunch of JSON gibberish. l love seeing more API tools geared towards the non developer!
