Hey Everyone,
On December 17th, I announced and began preselling my second info course, called Idea.Audience.Proof.Product.
The goal of this course is to help people formulate an idea, grow their audience, prove out expertise, and then build a digital product they can offer to customers online.
In the first 11 days of preselling, I've done $22,672 in sales with no advertisements - just strictly organic. Most of my revenue comes through LinkedIn, where I've built a sizeable audience (about 66,000) over the last 2 years.

Here's a breakdown:
- Sales: $22,672
- Hours spent creating: 23
- Hours spent promoting: 16
- Total hours: 39
- Revenue per hour of work: $581
I've been building in public via Gumroad posts, but I neglected to share here on Indie Hackers and thought it could be interesting or helpful for anyone else building in public.
If you'd like to see the background and granular details, I've linked to the weekly updates I've been writing. I get pretty nerdy with metrics and stats if you're into that kinda thing.
You can scroll to the bottom and read the three I've written so far to see the whole journey. Each read is 4-6 minutes.
I hope it's helpful to someone.
Cheers,
Big kudos! Maybe you can elaborate a bit on the Linkedin growth. 66.000 followers on Linkedin in two years. That's seriously impressive.
Hi Maeva - thanks! For me, it's a combination of a few things:
Aaah, thnx for sharing 😎
How have you built your audience on LinkedIn?
Btw, your product is impossible to find via Google, probably because it's too fresh?
Thank you for sharing this, Justin, it's inspiring.
Hi Koyno - thanks so much - I don't do much through SEO, just rely mostly on social.
For me, building my LinkedIn audience was mostly hard work, no shortcuts or gimmicks as (to me) it's not worth it:
Here's the link in case I didn't post this correctly (first timer here):

Very inspiring.
Thanks!
Congrats! Would love to learn more about your approach to growing your Linkedin audience.
Hi Tkar,
For me, building my LinkedIn audience was mostly hard work, no shortcuts or gimmicks as (to me) it's not worth it:
Consistency: posting 5x per week for 125+ weeks
Building an ecosystem: Participating in conversations with other high-value users who have a similar audience, but slightly different offerings.
Profile capture: Designing my profile in a way that guides users to hit the follow button (I think of it like a landing page more than a social profile)
Cohesion: Using other social forums (Twitter, IH, etc.) to drive them all to one place (my email list)
Opinions: I have several strong opinions that I don't shy away from. I feel like I care more about building the right community of followers than being liked by everyone.
Hi Justin,
Thanks for the detailed reply and tips. Those are all pretty solid and actionable steps I'll implement over the next year.
I'm glad you started with "mostly hard work, no shortcuts or gimmicks as (to me) it's not worth it". I think that's the only sure way to build something solid and meaningful. None of that "hacking x" bs.
Congrats @OfficialJustin ... Amazing result
Appreciate it, Marco.
Congrats! well done
Thank you!
Is there any demo of this course?
There's currently no demo of the course, no.
