Great advice in here that's derived from two companies that have scaled super well.

I particularly like the first section on growing your career in startups. I wish I had heard these points earlier on in my career.

Pushing yourself to become more technical (even when you feel WAY out of your comfort zone) is so worthwhile. I've learned many new skills this way and you learn how to be more of a team-oriented player.

And rather than focusing on what you think you need to advance, see what your team needs. This makes you more valuable to your company, you help it advance and you grow in the process. Basically, focus on being helpful rather than advancing only your own skills.
