It feels a bit slow, you should try load that js file async. It doesn't show anything without Javascript, you really should make sure that all landing pages render just fine without javascript. If you looks just at the source HTML, there's almost nothing there for search engines to work with.

Regarding the product, how does it differ from 23andme which everyone on The Internet knows. Do you have a success-story to share?

I'm missing info on data privacy, who else are you sharing the DNA with? Law enforcement?

Thanks for the feedback! Yes will take a look at including more content for seo purposes.
We are also adding an FAQ/data privacy section as well shortly. We differ in the sense that we don't charge for saliva kits, and instead can take that data from 23andme and use that to connect you directly to research projects.

Data privacy would be a huge issue for me, particularly with something so sensitive and with privacy concerns in the tech news so often these days.

    Hi Craig,

Everyone else has made much better UX and technical comments than I could ever make. The few things I would say, coming from a marketing and business development side are this:

The product still seems a little unclear. As a layperson I get the gist- that I can choose to share my DNA data with those conducting medical research projects in exchange for a remittance. However the value of that isn't clear- for example, would this be a pittance or would users really see significant economic value from sharing this data?

What is also unclear is the role of blockchain- is it for privacy and hashing the data? Will all remittance be via a token? I only ask the latter because of the screenshot including the "0.234 ETH". However, not all prospective users will pick up on that- and even if they do, it will be pure assumption.

Finally, the About section definitely needs a re-write- the first sentence is very difficult to understand, in particular.

I like the layout, however, and the product sounds fascinating! Although this seems more directed toward individuals, if you want to chat about on-boarding organisations as customers feel free to drop me an email at chris@unstuckgo.com

My only personal opinion, I think the main CTA is the signup button on the top? You could try to add it in a few more places if possible further down along the page, so people may want to signup can, instead of scrolling back to the top of the page. Maybe also consider using a different colour to make the CTA button stand out a bit more? Other than that, great site! :)

    Hey Craig,

I used to work at Unbounce and love landing page critiques. This is a solid page, some feedback/questions:

    1. Navigation: typically you'd want your nav to only link to subsections of the landing page so you keep visitors on your page and increase conversions. Right now the 'team' nav button goes to a whole new page which really caught me off guard, I tried scrolling up and down thinking that it would still be on the landing page and only until i clicked back on the nav was I able to return to the page. I would honestly just group that whole section under the 'About Us' (or remove it altogether).

    2. There are some slight copy mistakes, it reads like it was potentially written by someone whose second language is English? I.e. 'Want to help cure disease?' should be 'Want to help cure diseases?'. "Subscribe to Newsletter" should be "Subscribe to THE/OUR Newsletter. etc. Also, you go between title case and sentence case so you should choose just one.

    3. The value proposition isn't clear to me. Is this an app? If so, you should mention that right in the H1 or H2. 'Beta launch of our app"

    4. The copy on your CTAs should all be the same. Right now you have 'join in' 'sign up for early access' 'susbscribe to the newsletter'. I'm pretty sure the one that is actually right is 'subscribe to the newsletter' so I'd just go with that.

Nice page and interesting service. I think it would make sense to specify which area you cover? I imagine that if I'm located in Estonia, I cannot benefit from it.

    1. 1

Yes, thanks for the feedback. We should make it clearer what location we can service. But hopefully that will one day be Estonia too ;)

Hey Craig, seems that logo and the text have different resolution, actually on retina screen.
I suppose that text on the first screen could be larger because all the focus is on the icons that contain DNA, but it is not clear what does it mean.
Logo and favicon are different too, if you want to have brand awareness you should propose it in the same way.
Well, and the most general, you need to let website visitors to rely on you - add more text and make it more specific, talk more about DNA and "medical privacy" if there is so.
Would be happy if you look through our landing: www.carrrot.io

Thanks for the feedback! yes going through some design iterations on the logo and trying to put together a style guide to keep things consistent. And yes definitely will expand more on the data privacy aspect as that is a core tenant of our platform.

Carrot.io looks pretty good mate! I come from the marketing automation space more on the mobile side, so understand it a bit more, and what we saw work was being somewhat industry focused and use case driven for those industries. Good to have a focus :)

thanks, Craig. If you have any questions about web marketing automation - you're welcome
