Isn't it more because of the removal of the "Free" word from one button? It was really confusing before, is it free if you fill the form but costs money with Google?

Also, note that you can't really track conversions improvement unless you A/B test and have a control version.

Using social sign in has many benefits like:

• faster sign up
• less spam registrations
• no need to recover password
• no need to secure passwords
• no need to remember your site credentials by user
  I highly recommend to use social sign in, OTP, or email login links. Also, make it possible for users to connect different forms of login to their account.

It's amazing how you can get a user's attention with small changes, like coloring one or another element. People were probably not noticing the presence of that button. Thanks for sharing!
