272% Growth in a Month: How Persistence Helped Me Turn My Solo Project into a Success While Balancing a Full-Time Job and Parenthood

I always remember a reel I saw on social media with Denzel Washington saying something like this:

"Dreams without goals are just dreams, and ultimately they fuel disappointment. On the road to achieving your dreams, you must apply discipline but most importantly consistency; because without commitment you never start but without consistency you never finish."

This resonates deeply with me.

A year ago, I embarked on an ambitious project as a solopreneur. Balancing this with my full-time job as an engineer and being a parent to a 1-year-old was challenging.

During the first year, only 200 users signed up. At times, I questioned whether I should continue, but I always chose to push forward. Deep down, I believed what I was building was valuable and would be useful to many.

In those moments of doubt, Denzel's words inspired me to stand up and keep working, building, and improving.

I spent the entire year focused on understanding what my users wanted and refining the product.

Starting last month, something changed.

The number of registered users skyrocketed, with over 500 new users in just one month. This growth has been entirely organic, as I haven't spent a single dollar on marketing.

Finally, the hard work is starting to pay off. I knew I was creating something great, and time would prove it.

To all the dreamers and builders out there, be persistent. Don't stop. Keep working to make it happen. Start small, keep costs low, and be persistent.
