Does John have any go-to mental models for decision making? What are some of his favourites if so?

Paul Graham wrote about it in his blog and it was fascinating.

I'd be curious how they managed to sway customers to use Stripe over well-established competitors such as Paypal.

Also if it would be an ok thing to ask (maybe ask before the interview) if they have any advice on how to be a co-founder with family members (as it's something often adviced not to do) and what kind of challenges they encountered due to being family members?

How did you go about learning all the things you needed to to take on the role you did at Stripe? Were you confident you could do it in the beginning?
