How do you measure your NPS?

How do you measure your NPS?

Are you using a tool to track your Net Promoter Score?

Personally I don't like NPS as a metric. IMO it's primary value is that it's become a standard, so you can use it in conversation and compare it to other products' NPS scores in discussion or where publicly available. It's also good in that it captures the "true" neutral point of an scale pretty well, although you can do this without the discretization mentioned below.

Otherwise, why would you want to use a scale that collapses variance by discretizing an 11 point scale to a 3 point scale. Also, is it even relevant to your product? It probably is for the IndieHackers crowd, but it's less relevant in commodity markets or socially undesirable or awkward markets. In these cases, I'd lean towards a satisfaction scale, not a willingness to recommend scale.

    We use Wootric.

NPS is not to compare with other companies, because when you ask the NPS question matters a lot (I saw a comment in this thread about this topic). For us, we ask after 30 days, which obviously gives us a better NPS score than if we asked on the first day.

NPS is especially useful when you get comments, and when you compare the different segments of your userbase. If one has 10, and one has 50, you know which target market to go for :)

There are a lot of startups emerging with NPS apps. What I want is to have it integrated into my app as part of my funnels and triggered at certain times. I don't want them to have to leave the app.

I’ve built a feedback tools to help startups to keep track of their NPS score, it also comes with the capability to capture screenshot.

      just checked it! nice website.
I just have a suggestion: in the "annual" pricing section is stated annual billed but is not clear that the price indicated is the monthly one.
