HighlyStatic (www.highlystatic.com) is a service that gives users peace of mind and assurance that if their website goes down, it will redirect all their traffic to a static copy of the website.
This service requires DNS record change to make the failover as smooth as possible. Once it’s done the service will start making a static copy of your website on daily basis. Static website is a working copy of the actual website with no server side logic, e.g. user cannot leave a comment on a blog or checkout on an ecommerce website.
As an incentive I’m offering a free service for one year.

Interesting - how is this different from Cloudflare? My understanding is that they similarly serve content from their CDN which means you get static content even if you're down right?
Good question! The issue with CloudFlare is that you don't really know what is cached unless you bring your website down. On the other hand HighlyStatic gives you direct url to the static copy of your website.
Secondly, if your website actually goes down CloudFlare will show an ugly banner on the cached pages saying that the origin website is down. In my view, if you present a static copy of your website to the users without indicating it's actually down, most of them won't see the difference. Overall that will create a better impression and will be less damaging to the reputation as oppose to "Website is unavailable" message.
Also I'm thinking of adding a manual switch to the static website. For instance, if you are planning some maintenance work on your website and instead of putting up a maintenance page you could just manually redirect traffic to the static version of your website.
Don't get me wrong CloudFlare is awesome for what they do which is protection against DDoS and other attacks but automatic failover is not their main focus.

If you are happy with that we can proceed to setting up the DNS records. That will allow my service to constantly monitor your website and if it goes down it will automatically switch to the static copy which will be under the same domain evoig.com.

Up time of a static website is pretty much guarantied since there is no webserver and no database. It's just a bunch of static files like, html, css, javascript, images and etc. deployed to a global CDN.
I also leverage Amazon AWS infrastructure to make it robust and reliable.
